Safety Stock

When a valid Catalog record is selected in the Catalog Manager program and the Safety Stock option is selected from the More Menu, the system activates the Safety Stock Lookup program and it loads the lookup with any Safety Stock records that have been created for the Catalog record.  Safety Stock records are used to reserve inventory warehouse quantities in specific warehouse locations for specific customers.  The system does not automatically allocate safety stock quantities.  Safety Stock is described in more detail in the documentation for the Warehouse Management System.
