The Shop Order WIP Value by Component report outputs the current value of the components that are in work in process. These are shop order line items that have been pulled from inventory and that have not yet been completed. The report is used to document the work in process balance for accounting purposes and is also used to quickly determine the amount of the components that should be in the shop at a given time.
