Viewing and Editing Customer Comments

1.  Select the Customer Manager from the CRM Pull-down menu  

2.  Find the Customer record that you wish to view or edit as described under “Viewing and Editing a Customer record.

3.  Once the desired customer record is loaded into the Customer Manager, the Comments or extended notes that have been entered for the customer will be displayed in the lower left section of the program.  Normally, as customer comments are created, the first line of the comment is used to identify the comment type or purpose.  Examples might include Credit Information, Directions to the company, Collections Notes, Sales or Special Order Processing Instructions, etc.

4.  To access the comments, you may use the mouse key to select the comment you wish to use, or you may use the navigation keys to move the cursor into the comment window in the Customer Manager and then use the up and down arrow keys to highlight the comment you wish to view.  Note:  Your ability to edit, view or create comments can be restricted using security parameters.  This allows confidential information to be stored in a central location and access to this information to be restricted.
