Accounts Payable Invoice Type Codes

The Type field in each accounts payable invoice can be used to organize or classify invoices according to your requirements. The Type field is a site specific freeform field used to divide your AP Invoices into whatever groups you find valuable for tracking purposes. Some example invoice types are listed in the following table.

Type	Description
T	Trade Invoice - Invoices for normal trade goods
S	Service Invoice - Invoices for services received
C	COOP Invoices - Debit Memos to a vendor for COOP advertising funds
R	Rebate Receivable - Debit Memos to a vendor for rebates from sales.
P	Price Protection
E	Employee Invoices - Accounts payable invoices from Employees of the company for reimbursements.
