Comment Button

When the Comment Button is pressed in the Inventory Transaction Lookup, the system activates the Comment Detail program and it loads the program with the Source RC or Receiving Comments that have been entered for the selected inventory transaction. 

The Comment Detail program is divided into two sections.  The top section will display the Header comment that has been entered for the receipt transaction, and the lower section will display any comments that have been entered for the specific line item that is selected when the Comment Button is pressed.

Once the comment information for the receipt is displayed, you may view the existing comment information, or edit the comment text as required.  If you have made changes to the comment information, you may  save the changes using the Save Button that is displayed in the Comment Detail program.

Note: Your ability to edit specific comment types may be restricted.
