Demo Tab Page

The Demo or Demographics Tab Page contains fields that are used for marketing and other purposes.  The fields included on this tab page include the Source and the Code fields, which can be used to track where the customer came from and to classify or group the customer based on your business needs.  Both of these fields support optional Gencode Validation.  This feature allows you to ensure that valid information is entered into the fields before a record can be saved.

Other fields included in the Demographics Tab Page include the SIC or Standard Industry Classification field (to store the SIC code for the company), and the Question Sets field.  The Question Sets field is used by the Scripting and Profiling system and it determines which question sets should be created for the customer

The Code1 through Code 5 fields are user-definable fields that can be used for various purposes (classifying the customer, storing information that is used for customer specific processing requirements and for other purposes).

The “Filter Fields” section of the Demographics Tab page displays ten customer category fields which are user-defined.  These category fields allow users to easily identify the company as belonging to one or more of up to ten groups.  Each of the category fields can be assigned a user-defined name or label.  Numerous reports can also use these fields as selection criteria.  Optional Gencode validation can be implemented for each of the fields.
