Maintenance Procedures

This section lists the maintenance procedures that should be performed at each month or period end.  Maintenance procedures are tasks that should be performed at the end of the month or period that are not associated with the accounting month-end.  Examples include rebuilding statistical information, purging old data, clearing temporary records out of files, etc.

There are no monthly maintenance procedures that are specific to the RA System.  However, the RA system does use Customer and Inventory information during transaction processing, and the standard reconciliation programs for Customers, Inventory Items, and Vendors should normally be performed at the end of each month.  These reconciliation programs are discussed in the documentation for the CRM, Warehouse Management, and Vendor Management Systems.
