Serialized Inventory - File Structures
The programs in the Serialized Inventory System make use of the information in several different data files. This section briefly describes how serialized items are identified during item setup, what serialized inventory flags or fields are stored and maintained in the Product Catalog and the Inventory Master files, and where serialized item information and serial transaction history are maintained on the system.
