Bank Records – Journal Entry Detail

As Bank records are created from the Bank Management, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable systems, the system also creates journal entries to record the bank transactions.  Each Bank record will normally have at least one journal entry associated with it.  Foreign Currency Bank records (which may be cleared at a different house currency amount than they were created with), and voided checks will normally have more than one journal entry associated with them.  The Journal Entries for each bank record can be viewed by using the Expand option that is available in all of the Bank Lookup programs.
