Develop Test Plan

Once the changes in the new application have been identified, a test plan is developed.  The test plan is used to confirm that the new application is functioning properly and that the changes to the application have been implemented properly.

      A test plan or suite is created and developed, based on the scope and the possible collateral impacts of the changes.

      Existing procedures are compared against the changes being installed to identify any areas where the new application software may affect day to day operations or data entry procedures.

      Create new records, or confirm integrity of data that will be used for testing
