Generic Field Copier Button

When the Generic Field Copier Button is pressed in the Generic Utilities Menu, the system activates the Generic Field Copier program.

The Generic Field Copier program allows you to copy the contents of one field in a database file to another field in the same database file.

The program also allows you to determine which records should be processed based on selections in the same file.

For example, you could have the program move the next cost for each catalog item to the standard cost for the item and only process records where the next cost is greater than 0.
