There are two primary methods to import sales orders from your customers into the system automatically.
XML Order Import – Allows you to import customer sales order information provided to you in XML format. The Order import routine runs an xml conversion utility to convert the customer supplied xml order information to a standard input format. The program then creates sales orders (or quotes) from the standard input file.
EDI Order Processing – The StreamII programs include an EDI850 Sales Order import program that can be used to create sales orders from EDI input files.
Sales Orders can also be entered using Web based order entry programs (the Ecommerce System). That option is not described in this document.
