Main Section

The Main Section of the Manifest Detail Panel displays the invoice number and shipment date associated with the manifest record being edited, and it also displays the Tracking number, Batch, Shipment Type and Charge Type associated with the shipment.  Your ability to access the fields in this section depends on the type of shipment being processed and on whether or not the shipping method is automated.  As each order is loaded into the Order Invoicing program, the system will automatically create one or more box records for the shipment being processed.

If the Manifest record being edited is for a non-automated shipping method, you may use the Manifest Detail Penal to specify a Tracking number for the shipment.  If the Manifest records being edited was created by an automated shipping system (such as UPS or FEDEX), the automated shipping system will load the appropriate information into the other fields in the record.
