Prepare for Count Button

The Prepare for Count Button is used to prepare the selected inventory location for an inventory count.  The option is used for partial or cycle and complete counts of the selected warehouse.  When the Prepare for Count option is selected, the system prompts the operator to confirm that they wish to prepare the location.  If the operator selects Yes when prompted, the system performs the following actions.

•      The system deletes all count records for the currently selected warehouse location.

•      The system moves the current quantity for each bin in the selected warehouse location to a pre-count quantity field in the bin record.

•      The system notifies the operator that the inventory warehouse location is ready to be counted.
