Serial Number Selection List
The Serial Number Selection List is used to select from the existing Serial Master records for a serialized item when transactions are processed for the item.
The Serial Number Selection List is used along with the Serial Number List to specify, verify and record the serial numbers associated with a specific transaction in various applications in the system.
The Serial Number Selection list displays the Serial Master records that are available for a specific inventory item, in a specific warehouse location. The Serial Number List displays only the serial master records for the item that have a status that is valid for processing (based on the item serial flag and the type of transaction being processed).
The Serial Number Selection List program does not display any serialized inventory records which have the sales order number, shop order number or RA number fields in the record loaded as this indicates the serialized item is already being used or processed by one of those systems.
