Submit Button

The Submit Button is used to Submit the Item Number Change request to the system.  When the Submit Button is pressed, the system confirms that you have specified a valid Catalog record to be processed, and that the new item does not already exist (you will receive an error message if the new item is already in the system).  The program then creates a record in the NEWITEM file.  This NEWITEM or Item Change request record is processed using the Item Number Change Processor.
