Transfer Button

The Transfer Button is used to process the bin transfer or transfers using the Transfer Quantity and To Bin (destination bin) that is specified in each bin record.  You should not press the Transfer Button until you have

Verified the Transfer Quantity for each bin.

Set the To Bin value for all items being processed.

Checked the Set as default bin checkbox (as required) for all items being processed.

Once you have specified the quantity to be transferred, the new destination bin and have optionally checked the Set as Default Bin Checkbox as required, you may press the Transfer Button to complete the bin transfer.  At this point, the system will update the source and destination bins, it will write Warehouse Activity records to document the transaction, and it will update the Inventory records in the selected warehouse (if required) with the new default bin for each item.
