The Address Tab Page displays the mailing address for the selected contact. This address is normally only entered into the system when it is different from the address of the company associated with the contact. The fields displayed in the address tab include the contact company name, two address lines, and the City, State, Zip, and Country fields. The State and the Country fields in the address tab page are required fields and the valid entries for the fields are restricted based on the information that has been entered into the State and Country tables in the Generic Code file.
The address tab page also includes a “mailto” indicator that is used to determine whether mailings to the contact should use the business (company address) or the home address (address stored in the contact record) when sending items to the contact.
