Catalog User Fields
The StreamV Product Management System provides you with 10 “User” or User Definable fields in each Catalog record. The Catalog User fields are 8 character ASCII fields. The fields are reserved for customer specific requirements, and they can be used to store information that cannot be stored in the standard fields in each Catalog record (either because they are very specific to the customer, or because a standard field is not defined for the data that needs to be stored. How the fields are used can vary greatly by customer.
The Catalog User fields support both custom field labels, and custom field validation, and there are multiple options that can be implemented depending on your specific needs.
