This section describes how Credit Request documents are created and processed.
Users may view existing Credit Requests and create new Credit Requests from several different places in the system.
• AR Invoice Lookup: The AR Invoice Lookup Context Menu includes a Credit Requests for this Invoice Option. The More Menu options include an All Credit Requests and a Credit Requests for this Invoice option. Both of these options allow you to view and edit existing Credit Requests, or to create a new Credit Request.
• Customer Manager: The Customer Manager More Menu includes a Credit Requests option which lists the open Credit Requests for the selected customer. The Credit Request option can be used to edit any open Credit Requests for the customer or to create a new Credit Request for the selected customer.
• Customer Management: The Customer Management More and Context Menus include a Credit Requests option which lists the open Credit Requests for the selected customer. The Credit Request option can be used to edit any open Credit Requests for the customer or to create a new Credit Request for the selected customer.
Permitted users may also convert Credit Requests into customer credit memos once the Credit Requests have been reviewed and approved. This option is normally restricted to the Accounting department.
• Direct Invoicing: The Direct Invoicing program is used to convert open Credit Request documents into credit memos. The Direct Invoicing program contains a More Menu option that allows you to display and select from the open Credit Requests in your system.
