The Fast Entry or Quick Setup option is available from the Customer Lookup program that is used in the POS program. The Fast Entry or Quick Setup option allows you to quickly enter a minimal, limited amount of information for each new customer into a grid. The information that is entered into the grid is user defined based on the situation. The system takes the information that is entered into the grid, and the new record default information that you have defined for new POS customer records, and it creates a new customer (and optional contact) record, for the new customer. Once the customer has been created, they can be selected and used in the POS program.
