When the Inventory Prompt Button (to the right of the item description field in the main section of the Item Demand program), is pressed. The system activates the Inventory Detail panel and it loads the panel with the selected Inventory record.
The Inventory Detail panel allows you to view and edit the information that is stored in each Inventory record and it also allows you to access other data and transaction history associated with the Inventory record. Your ability to edit the fields in each Inventory record is based on your field security settings and on the Inventory Normalization logic that is being used on your system (the program automatically block you from editing fields in the Inventory record that should be maintained in the Catalog record for the item).
