Receiving Comment

The Receiving Comment option allows you to manage the PO Receiving comment for the selected purchase order.  If the option is selected, and a PO receiving comment exists for the order, the program will display (and allow you to edit) the existing receiving comment.  If no receiving comment has been entered for the purchase order, the program will prompt you to create a receiving comment for the purchase order.

The PO Receiving Comment can be viewed and edited (based on security settings) by personnel when they are processing Purchase Order Receipts in the Receiving program.  The Comment is identified with Source:PO Ident:PONumber and Line:1010
