The Save Button is used to save the current record or transaction. When the save button or key is pressed, the system will normally check and make sure that the record or transaction being processed is complete and is loaded with all required information. If the record is not complete, a warning is displayed to the operator indicating why the transaction cannot be saved. If the record or transaction is complete, the system will normally save the transaction and display a message indicating that the operation completed successfully. In some cases, the system will also display the journal entry or other transaction number assigned to the transaction during save.
