Select/Cancel Buttons

The Select and Cancel Buttons that are located in the lower section of the Cross Reference Lookup program are used to select one of the displayed records or to escape from the program without selecting a record (cancel).

The Select Button is used to return the currently selected Cross Reference Item record to the Order Entry Item Panel.

The Cancel Button allows you to exit the Cross Reference Lookup program without returning a record to the Order Entry Item Panel.

Once you have searched for and have selected (highlighted) the correct Cross Reference record, you may use the Select Button to select the record or you may escape from the program by pressing the Cancel Button.  If you select a record, the system will automatically return the appropriate internal item number to the program that the lookup was called from (your internal item number is loaded into the Order Entry program based on the cross reference record that is selected).
