Vendor shipment items (items with the vendor ship flag set to Y) should not be included in shop orders or be built using the shop order system. There is no vendor ship flag in the shop order system as the Shop Order System is used to produce goods from in house components. Items with a blank or N in the vendor ship flag can be included in or built using a shop order as the system will correctly differentiate between normal replenishment requirements and vendor ship requirements for the item (based on the vendor ship flag in each sales order line).
