View Inventory Comment

The View Inventory Comment option can be accessed from the More Menu that is located on the Standard Toolbar.  The View Inventory Comment option allows you to view or edit any existing inventory manufacturing or shop floor comments for the Item specified in the selected Bill of Materials Header.  Inventory Manufacturing Comments are used to store information that applies to an item any time it is used in or produced by the Shop Floor System.  Inventory Manufacturing comments are supported for both the top level and component items in a bill of materials or a shop order and they are maintained at the Catalog level (meaning they apply to all warehouse locations).  Inventory Manufacturing Comments can be viewed from any Bill of Materials or Shop Order which includes the Inventory item as a component or a top level part, and if these comments exist, they are printed automatically on the Shop Order and Pull Ticket documents that are produced by the Shop Floor system.
