Converting a Quote to a Sales Order

The following steps can be used to convert a Quote to a Sales Order

•      Select the Sales Order Management program from the Menu.

•      Find and select (highlight) the quote to be converted.   You may locate quotes in the Sales Order Management program using the order number, customer, shipto company or several other search options.

•      Press the Convert Type Button.  The system will convert the quote to a sales order and it will try to allocate available inventory to the new order.  The Sales Order will also be placed on hold automatically (if required) by the system.
