General Configuration

Catalog/Inventory Setup – In order to enjoy the full benefits of automated processing, each item must have the appropriate fields setup.

1. Cartons - Set to the correct number of boxes required to ship the item.

a) If the SKU is shipped in the same packaging as it is warehoused the carton field is set to 1 (one).

b) If the box requires less than a complete carton, is packed together with other items the carton field is set to 0 (zero).

c) If the SKU is shipped in more than one carton the carton field is set to the number of cartons required.

2. BoxSize - set to the appropriate size code, which is controlled by the Gencode Table.

3. Weight - the weight of the item in house weight units, either pounds or kilograms.

Shortcut Instructions

Default information complete.

Enter the Packer and Checker information as required.

Press F2 to complete manifesting if no changes are required to the default box records.

Edit of box record required:

1. Enter the Packer and Checker information as required.

2. Press F6 to move cursor down to box records.

Press CTRL-F3 to edit record detail.

Press F2 to save changes.

Press F2 again to complete manifesting process.

Additional box records required:

Press the INSERT key to create a new box record.

Enter information as required.

Press F2 to save changes.

Press F2 again to complete manifesting process.
