This procedure is used to issue a return authorization to a customer, in order for the customer to return goods to you for credit or for credit and replacement. You may create a new return authorization or RA from two different places in the system.
• You may select the Returns Management program from the menu and then use the Insert option to create a new RA.
• You may use the Accounts Receivable Invoice Lookup program to locate the invoice you wish to create the ra for, and then use the Create Return Authorization option to create a new ra for the selected invoice.
The following sections describe the procedures to be followed when using each option.
