Program Option Security

Many programs in the system also support Policy or Parameter Based Security.  Policy based or Parameter security options are used to restrict certain types of transaction processing in various programs.  They can be used to control who can void a customer payment or vendor ck, who can cancel and invoice, etc.  These security options are specific to each program or system and are documented at the system or program level.

Program Option Security can be set using the System Parameter Maintenance program or using the System Properties program.
