Sales Order Processing Overview

Sales Orders are used to ship items to your customers. When a Sales Order is entered, the system automatically tries to allocate any available inventory to the order, based on the items ordered, the date the order is scheduled for shipment and the fulfillment method being used to ship the items.  When a sales order is saved, the system also audits the information on the sales order, and it places holds on the order if necessary.
